Looking in the mirror

What does your mirror tell you to change?

My 11-year old son is always looking in the mirror. It’s both funny and weird because although he is always looking in the mirror, he sees his flaws yet hardly ever changes them.

This made me do some thinking…I thought isn’t that just like us as we try to accomplish our goals or strive to better ourselves. We constantly reflect over our mistakes and yet in our own evaluations of ourselves we choose to leave our flaws as they are. We get too comfortable. In a sense we choose to leave our flaws unchanged and the same instead of changing them and growing from them.

So let me ask you, what is it that you need to change, remove, and/or work on? What alterations do you need to make in your life? What habits can you fix that would help to ensure that your goals in life are met? Don’t just think about it! Don’t just leave the dried up toothpaste stain on your face (so to speak :-)) or leave those dangling strings hanging off your clothes. Take evaluation and make the change today and alter your life!

Be blessed everyone!!! 🙂 Please feel free to leave comments. What changes do you need to make? What is your action plan to making the change?
